Story of bronze
The imps are gargoyles, whose symbolic mission is to serve as a reminder that the forces of good can be found inside the church, with their rather uncomely appearance designed to ward off evil from sacred ground.
Somewhat tired by this mission, the imps comfort and hug one another, coming together in an attempt to forget the strains of this endless struggle.
